8 Celebrities Who Went From Rags To Riches

When it comes about celebrities, there are many and many of them who've entered the industry, and with their hard work and perseverance have earned a fortune that would go for generations. But there are some exceptional cases. Here are some celebrities that were actually homeless and broke and later became rich and famous.Obviously, through their hard work and passion, they are where they are!!

1) Daniel Craig :

The first on the list is Daniel Craig. It is unbelievable that this handsome British actor has made it to the list.He was so poor that he did not have a roof over his head and had to sleep on a bench. As a struggling actor he gave audition by day and slept on London's Hyde park by night. He has since rejuvenated the Bond Movie Franchise by appearing in 4 Bond Films. 

2)Jim Carrey :

When he was 12 his father lost his job which meant that his whole family had to live in their VW bus. This Canadian comedian had a rough time but he worked hard to become successful. It was not until the mid 90's that he got a famous role. 

3)Halle Berry :

When she was 21,she was living in a homeless shelter located in New York City. After much struggle,she made her breakthrough in a movie by the name Breakout Fever. She became the first African-American actress to win an Oscar for best actress. 

4)Tyler Perry :

This comedian was homeless for 6 years,as he spent all his money on a play. He was living in a Dingy Motel where people were addicted to the substance. His struggle did finally pay off as the play that made him homeless was the play that got him his multi-millionaire status.

5) Jennifer Lopez :

The 5th person on the list is surprisingly Jennifer Lopez.She is one of the celebrity who was homeless and changed the things to be rich and famous. Her pre stardom days were really harsh on her. She lived in poverty-stricken state in Bronx and decide to leave her broken family when she was 18 years old. She wanted to pursue dance career,so she spent days homeless and slept on Cot of her dance studio till she finally got her big break. 

6)Dr. Phil :

Dr.Phil is spending his current days in an attempt to give a lot of teenager's hope through his show. But when he was a child,he didn't have same for himself as he and his dad had separated from their entire family. They had to live in their car for sometime until they found a room that cost them $5 per week but the place had no electricity. The struggle was a thing of the past today as he is worth over a dollars today.

7) Kelly Clarkson:

Before she was famous,the pop-star's LA apartment caught fire. She was left with no option but to stay in her own car. She thought this life isn't for her so she moved to her hometown in Texas. But life had something else within the store for her as American Idol was conducting auditions in her hometown which is where she caught her big break.

8) William Shatner :

The last person on our list is William Shatner who was homeless and later became rich and famous. Many might not know that Star wars was not successful when it had been originally aired back in 1960's. The show only lasted for 3 seasons and he had sleep in the back of his obtain truck while he was doing summer stock theatre on the the side.
